Barrett BORS system

Hi can anyone help please. Have a BORS system designed for a Nightforce 8-32x56 NSX no zero stop. Can I use this BORS system on another scope I have which is a Nightforce 3.5-15x56 NSX no zero stop. Both scopes appear identical physically and I cannot understand why Barrett produced different BORS models for each of these scopes.

I don't have a BORS, but I believe they are dependent primarily on click-values, (and that the decoder actually fits over the turret) If both are the same, it should work, but don't take my word for it. Have you tried to physically fit it, and if so, you can verify whether the distances match up with the values at the range. The turrets will have to be the exact size, and they both have to be either MOA or MILs + same click values. That's what I gather from having looked at them a few years ago.

Hi Lancer, Many thanks for your reply and what you said totally makes sense. The 2 scopes I have are identical physically and are bot MOA and are both 1/4 clicks. so as you say it should all be good.
