Rifle Scopes Barrett BORS w/ Leupold MK4

One of my buddies is currently trying to sell a Leupold MK4 scope with the Barrett BORS kit and Barrett Zero-Gap rings. Everything is in great shape, but he doesn't know where to price it at.

What is a reasonable price? I see they go for around $2800-3000 new. Is around $2250 a good price to start it at?

Any help would be great.

I think the reason you're getting no replies is that your post is a thinly veiled attempt to post an item for sale without actually posting an item for sale... and you don't have the requisite 100 posts to do so.

I am getting banned for asking a question? I am not trying to sell the item for the guy. He just wants a rough idea on where to start the selling price at. He isn't going to be posting it on here.

No, you aren't getting banned for asking a question. It's the way you've worded the question that makes it sound like you have something to sell, but you don't have the required number of posts so you're not exactly saying <span style="font-style: italic">you</span> are selling it but <span style="font-style: italic">asking for a friend</span>. Make sense?

Any attempt to circumvent the rules will earn you a ban. No matter what sneaky idea you can conjure up, it's all been tried before and results in the user being banned.

Wow you guys are really rough this morning! I read the post as an honest question.

Side note, I really wish BORS was available for the M5 turrets.

I owned the MK4/BORS Combo and paid through the nose when it came out. Have your buddy throw it up on a firearm auction site. The starting price is great for someone looking.

Another option would be to sell the BORS and Lupy as 2 parts. He should have got an extra elevation turret in the kit.
