Barrett Jackson Auction to support Troops

Not sure if there are any other Barrett-Jackson fans out there... but it's the TV highlight of my year.

Just a few minutes ago, a 500 Ford Fairlane donated by one of the auction principles to support the troops sold for $1,000,000.

To make it even better, the same car was sold earlier in the auction for $700,000. And was donated back by the buyer to be auctioned AGAIN for the military charities.

I don't have the 'people's' names yet. But if I find out, I'll post them.

Wow... talk about a great donation and some GREAT Americans bidding... 1.7 Million raised.

The guy who bought them is named McIntyre. Not sure who he is, but he bought at least 2 million worth of charity items at the auction.

Got the nickname "Pen Guy" because he had a pen for each car he bought. And his pocket was stuffed full.
