Barrett MRAD Take Down Button Question

I love my MRAD but the takedown button is suuuuuper stiff.I feel like it should have been raised a bit if they were going to make it that stiff . Just wondering if anyone else has this issue?Thanks

Its built tough I guess so if you hit the button by accident it won't open, and it doesn't want to open even when you try to push it in !!!

Mine is hard to press too ... but it's new. Hoping it gets easier with age.

I use a wood dowel, about 5” long. It opens with ease

Yup, same with me, really tough to to open, and i too use a wooden dowel.
