Long Range 2 is a three day (24 hr) course; students will be paired into shooter/ spotter teams. After warming up on the 1000 yard known distance range, be prepared for the challenges of shooting on the unknown distance range at distances exceeding 1500 yards. Long Range 1 is a prerequisite for this course.

Class begins at 8:30 a.m. and generally lasts until 5:30 p.m. (If you plan to travel home by air on the last day, please be prepared to stay in class until 5:30 p.m.)
Rental rifles are available for use during the course. Ammunition is included with the rental. (You can reserve a rifle during the registration process.)

•Barrett rifle zeroed (100 yards if using BORS®)
•100 rounds of ammunition (ammunition is available for purchase when you register)
•Tactical scope with a ranging reticle (e.g. mil-dot or TMR)
•Spotting scope (25x minimum)
•Shooting mat
•Notebook and pencil
•Calculator
•Cleaning equipment (solid rod, solvent, patches, lubricant)
•Hearing and eye protection
•Drinking water
•Weather appropriate clothing including rain gear (We shoot rain, shine, cold or hot.)
•Lip balm (NM courses)
