Hey Everyone, is a Bartlein 3B sustainable for Hunter-style matches, or will I be at risk of the barrel getting too hot and should be running a thicker contour? 6.5 Creedmoor.

I think it would be fine, maybe even ideal for Hunter matches. This group is from my hunting rifle, a .22GT with a Bartlein 3B.

It should be fine dealing with the strings of fire found at hunter matches. Without knowing your intended barrel length, my only concern would be OD at the muzzle. The 3B gets pretty small at 24-26" if you plan on threading it 5/8-24.
Personally, I'd look at either the Sendero or Medium Palma contours just so there's a little more shoulder for your muzzle device.
