We don't have a lever rifle section, so I guess I'll post these here.

That's so ugly it needs to be sent to me for hiding in my safe.

Funny thing, even if I owned something as beautiful and expensive as that, I'd shoot the snot out of it. :D

I like marlins, have more than a few of them and would love to have this one, but I still can't help but think "all this for a marlin?"

I like lever action rifles and that one above is a beauty. Years ago I bought a couple made by Rossi. A .357 in stainless and a blued .454 Casull. After smoothing the action, reworking the trigger and redoing the fit and finish of the furniture they are very nice rifles. Very easy to carry in the field and point very quickly.

Again, not my rifle.

Looks like the Marlin was a show piece for an event going on this weekend in Dallas.
Dallas Safari Club Convention.

Looks like quite an event.

The Rossi Model 92 lever action .44 Mag I have is only 450 bucks, weighs 4.5lbs and is accurate as hell, will knock the snot out of anything out to 200 yards with 240's at 1600fps. This rifle has become one of my favorites!
