Beavis and Butthead...

Just in case anyone wants to feel old...

Beavis and Butthead would be turning 48 this year.

Think about that when you order tickets for that Dokken/Pantera reunion tour.

Ah ah ahhah aha....

Im missing something here, like maybe the underlying joke. But B&B aint no 48 years old. First time I saw them were the mid 90's.

Mike Judd himself is barely 48.

Is South Park now 65?

The show itself is 30 years old. Our two heros were depicted as teens. 48 may be pushing it; but let's assume they didn't pass a few grades and were held back. Only Daria and possibly Stewart were in their correct grades by my guess. :):).

They were 16 - 17 in the show. If they were born in 1975 or so... they'd be approaching 50.

It's not the show's age... it's that the characters they portrayed (Gen-X slackers...) would be 48 or so!

Daria.... ah hahhaa... another one who was awesome in the early '90's! Thanks for that reminder!

Oh I agree, they were between that age...add 30 years and 46-48 (because they obviously failed a few grades). That was one of my favorite shows.

In the movie when they meet their fathers, lost in the desert right around the time they ate some peyote, their dad says they went through Highland about 15 years ago so they’d be like... 14-15ish

Ok, got it.

Somewhere around '95, '96 was when I first saw them so if they were 17 that would make them 47ish.

A buddy and I would do that Butthead laugh until my g/f at that time finally got fed up about something and exploded and said "...and then you and so do that RETARDED laugh!" which only made us laugh harder Uh...huh huh, huhhuhhuhhuh.

I think the first appearance of the characters was in 1992 on some MTV special. They started sort of like The Simpsons. A short that got picked up.

Mike Judd was on Letterman and Dave asked how he got the idea for the characters. Judd said he lived in an apartment above actual characters that looked, acted and talked like that.

He gave an example when they were standing around looking at the bashed out rear window of a Ford Pinto in the parking lot and one said "Cool. Now it's a pick-up. Huh huh, huhhuhhuhhuh..." The audiance loved it.

I myself knew real life Beavis and Buttheads. Two white trash, Metalica t-shirt wearing brothers that laughed that idiot laugh at everything.

A friend one time, who was very talented at drawing, drew a picture of one of our friends and my brother as Beavis and Butthead. It was about the second funniest thing I have ever seen because it looked just like all four of them. The funniest part was when our friend saw. He bursts out laughing and said, thats your brother, and points at the drawing of himself and says, Who is that?
