Bedding oozed into bolt release, how to get it out before it cures?

Second ever bedding job on a kelbly action. When I pressed the action into the marine Tex a little bit oozed up around the bolt release. I have good release agent in there, but I’m trying to decide if I should try and wipe it out before it dries or if that will just just push it further in and cause problems. I haven’t touched it or moved it yet. Thoughts?

Cleaning patch with vinegar will remove whatever is left after scraping . Also, there should be excess surrounding the entire action that needs to be removed. If there isn't then your bedding will have gaps/hollows/air pockets.

You can also wait until the epoxy is partially set, which is what I usually do provided I'll be around for a few hours.

Once it's cured enough to not be "sticky", but still pliable- it'll peel away-provided you've got enough release agent.

Your'e not gonna get the stuff out from the bottom of it so I'd leave it to dry and as long as you released everything, it should come right off. You get in there with q tips and you may push it further into the crack where the release didn't go.
