Its been a while since I've done work ups (few years) in other calibers but new for .308. I'm just wanting to make sure im not reading into things or trying to make myself feel "better" with some of the shots I shanked. *it should be noted these are just some of the groups and not JUST what i did.

In photo #1 (work up #1) (VARGET)
Group A seems to be my best if you dont count the 2 shots i pulled but B seems like my better overall.

In photo #2 (work up #2) (XBR 8208)
Group A and B seems to be better were C it starts to open up

In photo #3 (work up #3) (XBR)
Group B and C seem to start closing up really good, C better if you dont count the 2 other shots.

In photo #4 (work up #4) (XBR)
Group B overall seems good but Group C is better if you dont count the pulled shot

Im torn on which powder had the better overall groupings (Im sure no 1 wants me to post up all the other photos) but the XBR seems to have the better overall grouping (1.23". counting all pulled shots) vs Varget (1.35" including pulled shots) My only "issue" is i didnt realize the rear mono-pod was on my shooting mat, (voodoo tactical, decent amount of foam like padding) and i know while shooting the XBR shots, i was getting alot more movement in the scope because of it. Couple that with me pulling a few rounds, I wonder if i should just do a whole new workups with XBR or just try a few of the better groupings again and see if they tighten up and make sure im not on the squishy mat.

Incase anyone needs anymore info; This is a new build, 22" JP barrel in 11.25:1 5R, temps werent bad in phoenix this morning but the humidity was climbing fast (50% at 7am, around 70 by 10am and alittle over 70 by 11am when i left) temps was 82 when i got there and 100 at 11. barrel had around 40-45 rounds through it prior to this outing. it was cleaned after last use but i didnt go "crazy" on the cleaning in the barrel, just enough to knock the looser fouling out. I did not shoot all of my last 5 round work ups of XBR 43.4gr. 43.2gr had no real pressure signs, but defiantly felt like it had alittle more UMPH behind it. When I did 43.4gr, 1st round had a pierced primer and nasty extraction mark, so i stopped.
