This POS was taken out by the IDF about 3 hours ago. He was one of the masterminds of the Beirut Marine Barracks bombing.

He has had a price on his head for 41 years.

And was the military commander of Hezbollah.

It won’t bring back 241 Marines. But it’s a start.

Dude must be international hide and seek champ after a run like that. I bet Bin Laden wishes he had that dude's skills.

As a friend of mine said in a PM… it’s because someone wanted him alive…

And he was hiding in plain sight in Beirut. You know… where the whole population is innocent.

Sirhr

I just heard a report on the radio that says they hit him, but that he wasn’t dead. Do we have confirmation one way or another?

Al Jazeera confirmed him dead a couple of hours after the strike.

But everyone could be lying these days.

I tend to think the IDF got him and Hezbollah (who are claiming he is alive) is full of it.

Oh and Wikipedia has a page already that he was Kak’d. So there is that. ;-)

Just F'n NICE!
Couldn't of happened soon enough. When I was stationed in R-M, Germany during that event, I crewed one of the C-141B's that brought part of the 241 bodies back from that terrible time in history. Spent 29 days, along with many other volunteers, helping the Marine forensics docs, pulling body bags out of refer. trailers, then placing them on exam. tables. All that was left of the truck bomber, was a torso. They let that F'n "thing", sit on a table for 4 days, until they were certain it was what it was. I learned a lot about Marines during those 29 days. R.I.P. brothers. Mac🙏

Justice ?

No, I think not.

I was spec det'd out to train Ali bin Bobknob and Hadji Huak Tuah to use our smaller AA shit back then......you know, when Russia was trying to take over Afghanistan ?
Tow's, hawkeyes, stingers.....that sorta usual shit.
There was 2 filled to the brim ships with all of that and much much more that were given to Ali and Hadji and a few of the boys.

I was on an overlay staying for a while in Beirut waiting for transport out.
The stories y'all seem to believe are so fucking doctored up it isn't even funny.
I don't really think it would be in my best interest to correct them as it would single me out and identify me w/o any slight bit of doubt.....and I'm a nobody in the grand scheme of things, but I would be dead within a week, tops.

They need to start with Carter and Walter Mondale along with Harold Brown and whoever else was in Carters cabinet.
They enabled it and damn near begged for it to happen.

Nah, the whole situation goes a asston deeper than y'all know.
I hate fucking sand niggers, camel and sheep fuckers, and anyone else that identifies as a desert nomad stain of shit.

I trained martial arts with a guy several years in the 90’s who woke up after the blast pretty rattled. Looking around he had a foot on the right of his head and a foot on the left.
And loads of pain.
As he worked to get up on his elbows and see, he realized they were his….

Both hips replaced and was one very good martial arts guy and tougher than nails.
He always pushed us to be OK breaking fingers or putting a thumb in an eye. A hardcore fighter.

Returned to the sand after 9/11 doing contract work.
Suck started a 12g in his basement after his 2nd or 3rd trip.

He would be toasting this I know.

RIP Steve Woods (not the famous knife maker, though he made several).

He has lived a long life, it's been 40 some odd years since his .......choose a fitting word.

Many have not had that opportunity due to him and others of his ilk.
You can shame him in every way humanly possible.....and even some inhumanly ways.
How does that embody justice on behalf of some damn good men ?

I say flay him, in the true way it was done right there in Akmed land.
Skin him while he is alive......point to him and laugh at his screams, be sure he hears it.
That would be barely enough and for you soft fuckers that can't handle that shit.....I'll volunteer.

Well, he's dead. It's a little late for flaying.

Never underestimate the power of playing all sides, and allowing the game to move forward. The question is who/whom would have an interest in keeping him alive?

Hint, looking inward first would be a good start,... and remember conflicting agendas reside everywhere.

Wait for the giant funeral in the street where thousands gather around the coffin to shout death to this… death to that…

And put a fucking FAE right in the middle of it.

Sirhr
You are much kinder than I am, a FAE is why to fast. I prefer something they can not see, taste or feel, then when they realize a lingering death will be their end, it gives them & their loved ones something to ponder going forward,... Direct quick killing of bad actors and their supporters, is a short feel good but none generational changing event. Make the event both even if the time line for the dirtbags death has to be extended.
Now on the flip side, did we push them into their mindset, based on us thinking money/power & total control is the be all?

WE didn't push them into any mindset. The ME was turned into a shithole by a whole coterie of Arab Awakening and Arab Identity scholars in the 1960's... primarily inspired by Egypt's socialist leader Gamel Nasser. He fomented socialism all over the Middle East and much of it was couched as 'Arab Identity." In other words, revolution ranging from individual nations to a whole new Caliphate.

Add into that the stinging defeats that Israel inflicted on the 'vaunted Arabs warriors' and the whole population went into 'revenge' mode. This was stoked by Cold War proxy fights... and the USSR was all over the Middle East doing everything they could to screw with the West. And position themselves to take the ME Oil if they ever needed to in a lunge out of the Northeast.

The USA didn't plant the shit in their heads. They planted it themselves... and they sure as hell were happy to take weapons, advice and propaganda from the FUSSR and now China and their lapdog Iran.

PS. I will concede that our support of the Shah and, later, Saddam.... was like throwing gasoline into the region. We should have let Iran and Iraq kill each other to the last mullah. And western money made the Gulf states insanely rich... And T.E. Lawrence warned about that in the 1920;s. But they didn't go all 'let's be American.' Large numbers embraced radical Wahabi-ism and have spent all kinds of time exporting it. Then again, we run on their oil. So have to take the good with the bad.

PPS. Technically Europe and Japan run on their oil. But without it they'd need our oil. And we need it in the ground for when the rest of the world runs out.

After WW II we were sowing many seeds and we failed to grasp the effects of cross breeding,... but in the early 60's those plantings were rooted & cross bred. A select few seen potentially huge profits from same, if they could do a little nudging.

OPEC forming was the first major blow back of the cross breeding, and a policy of we are king shit on turd island. That in its self started a chain reaction, that is still running to date.

As we all know by now we are but pawns if that in their chess game. Thy have their next move ready and the next and the next and so on. We can just hope to keep up or at least not get run over by their evilness.
