Hey all, I recently acquired a 6.5 HMR. The stock felt good every time I had handled it before picking it up, then I shot it, and it just didn't gel for me. My question for you all, is how much should I ask for if I sell the stock? It's in original condition with all hardware; adjustment knob, bottom metal, studs and flush cups. I haven't found one online for sale, so I'm treading unknown ground here. I think it would look great in a xlr or grayboe. Thoughts?

If you have Facebook check out the Bergara Shooters Page. Not sure what your stock is worth, but I would think you would get top dollar out of it on there because people are looking for them often.

BTW I have an Bergara LRP that came with the XLR chassis and I feel about it like you do your HMR stock. Might want to check one out before you make the decision to purchase one.

I appreciate the heads up about fb, I dont have one, but my girlfriend does. Ill minimize the stupid shit I say to here for when I go through my leo background check haha.

I've handled a few xlrs, such as the one that comes on yours. It felt nice in most shooting positions. None beat the mcm a5 I had, except for a grayboe that came in close. Then again, those compared to an xlr anything is apples to squash. Do you have any pictures of your setup?

Nothing of it actually set up. I put a optic on it and a bipod and messed around with it at home. Prone out my patio doors and bench rest on my kitchen table. (hopefully my neighbors weren't watching me) Fit and finish is very nice on both the action and chassis, it just did not feel good to me.
I decided to go another route before firing the gun because I was fairly sure I was not going to be happy with the set up and did not want to spend the money to put the barreled action in another stock or chassis.

I liked my hmr, but I now have a greyboe ridgeback and believe it to be a much more robust stock than the hmr. I understand one is meant to bridge the gap between a hunting stock / match style stock, and the other is geared more towards heavy match/target style shooting. just my 2 cents.
