Bergara B14 R in a Foundation stock?

I just bought a Bergara B14 R 22 steel barreled action to put in the Foundation I run my 6x47 Impact in as well. I had to grind down the trigger hanger pins a little to fit the stock, but not a big deal. The Bergara 22 aics mag does not want to latch into the Hawkins m5 bottom metal. I will probably see if I can buy an extra mag catch and file one down. Before I do I was curious if anyone has used the Bergara barreled action in other stock or chassis and if you can successfully run Vudoo or Rim X mags in the Bergara if it is not in the factory stock?

I have a Rim X and a Bergara. I can run either one in a KRG stock, but I can't interchange mags with the barreled actions. Either one will work with their proper mags in the stock, but, you can't switch. P.S. Love Those Foundations !

Thanks for the input. I was really hoping the Rim X would work too, since the have a adjustable mag catch. Yeah I like the Foundation a lot. Love those KRG's too. I have a 2 Tikka's in KRG's. 1 whiskey and 1 bravo.

Well after talking to Andy Hawkins on the phone this evening. (Awesome guy, called me back on his drive home from work) I filed down my mag latch about .015 and the mag snaps right in. Put my first few shots through it tonight kneeling with a gamechanger on my porch railing with some Aguilla match ammo. Put 9 rounds in a tight little group. Excited to get it on a bench and try some more ammo.

I have a B14r in a Grayboe Ridgeback and Grayboe bottom metal. Everything works like it was made for each other.

Does anyone tried to drop a Bergara in a Foundation Rem700 inlet?
