just bought a Bergara b14r looking for a trigger upgrade
I have a rpr22 with Shaw match barrel and a JARD trigger set at 8 oz from Jard Great trigger and 1/2 MOA gun
I only see trigger recommendations for the Bergara on here are Trigger tech and some Timiny has anyone tried the Jard?
They are made in America and my experience with them is great! call on the phone and a real person answers usually Dean the owner
Just wondering why i have not seen these triggers used and recommended

I have a Jewell in mine, set at 1.5 oz and it works well! Easy to cock, smooth & easy to cycle. As it should. Sear height appears to be well suited for the B14R.

I've got a 15yr old Rifle Basix in mine.

People buy new shit for new guns. It isnt that Timney and Trigger Tech are the only ones available or worth a shit.

You can go find a 40yr old 40X trigger in it if you want.

Forums are full of clique-ish people but mostly product peddlers. Run whatever modified 700 or aftermarket trigger you want. Just because something is not pushed every 3 posts on here doesnt mean it isn't good.

Would you go Rifle Basix again? what is it set for # ? what is the adjustment range?

Thanks y’all for your responses!
Lots of great triggers to choose from
Adjusted the stock trigger down to 2# for now will shoot it next week and decide what trigger to buy
Have talked to Jard and Rifle Basix on the phone sounds like Rifle Basix is more familiar with the b14r so will probably go with it!
Both companies a real human answered the phone and great to talk to!
Veterans / first responders discount at Rifle Basics!!

I installed a Trigger Tech Diamond in my BR14r as a practice platform (same trigger in my custom Creedmoor build). Great practice rifle reading wind etc.

I use a bix & Andy. Works great and adjusted to 14oz in both my begara and Remington actions.

I actually don't like trigger tech all that much because they don't let you mess with the sear. Adjusting the b&a to work with your action through the sear adjustment and different sears gives you more options if you're not running an action that's specifically timed for a TT.
