Does anyone how different the bergara made CIP length bottom metal is compared to a proper M5? I'm ok with some minor fitting if it's too big but if it's smaller so sloppy and loose I'm not as interested.
I'm getting antsy to change out of the HMR stock on the 300 PRC Bergara I recently picked up. On one hand, I can save up some more for a Manners and on the other I can scratch the itch now. I'm leaning towards the latter.
Right now I'm between a Grayboe Renegade and an Xray. Very different ergos but I'm a fan of both. If I go with the Renegade I'd like to reuse my current bottom metal. If it won't work I'd need to buy a metal and at that point I might as well just pony up a touch more and grab a used manners kit from the EE. Or the XRAY for about the same as the grayboe is on sale right now.
