Bergara B14 HMR 6.5 Creedmoor cut down to 18” for sale. Was cut and threaded 5/8-24” by a professional gun smith. Nice shoulder and crown. Has approximately 200 rounds through it and shoots great. I got it and cut it down because I wanted something shorter for shooting suppressed, which it does well. The only reason I am selling is because I wanted something lighter and switched to Christensen Arms ridgeline action with a carbon fiber barrel. Comes 20 MOA Bergara scope base and 5 round magazine. Uses AICS mags.

$850 shipped.
I have a local FFL that will act as the shipping FFl if your FFl doesn’t accept shipments from an individual.

Data: The 140 gr ELD-M load I worked up for my 24” 6.5 Creedmoor goes 2,630 fps compared to 2,760 which is less velocity loss than I would have expected for 6” shorter barrel. Also shoots 1/2 MOA. It’s a great shooter I just decided I wanted lighter weight so went the carbon fiber route.
I have a 130 gr Sierra game changer load I worked up for this rifle that goes 2,750 fps that would be a great hunting load. I have 50 rounds loaded up I can sell with it if you are interested.

I forgot to mention it has the Bergara front pic rail installed for use with pic rail attachment bipods. It also includes a QD attachment point built into the pic rail. I will include the original two sling swivel studs with it as well.

About 9 lbs maybe a little less. The 6.5 Creedmoor HMR starts at 9.5 lbs from Bergara. Cutting it down from 22” to 18” didn’t take as much weight off as I expected. It did make it feel a lot more manageable and not excessively long with a suppressor though.
It’s heavier than a normal hunting rifle but lighter than most tactical rifles which is what I think Bergara was going for with the HMR. It shoots great and is great for shooting suppressed. I just wanted something a little lighter weight.

Here are some pictures of the Bergara with the rifle I replaced it with. The Bergara is a great rifle I just decided to spend more getting a lighter weight rifle that fills my use for it better. The Christensen Arms Ridgeline in a Greyboe Phoenix with Hawking bottom metal is about twice as much as the Bergara HMR and the only thing nicer about it is that it weighs less. The action on the Bergara is actually smoother and takes less force to cock.
