That's exactly what i was saying, my HMR with scope, base, sling, ARD, ADI, flip-up caps, throw lever, riser pad, muzzle brake, both Pic rails for monopod and bipod, Atlas PSR bipod and monopod, as well as the quick detach leveraged rails, and two round velcro patch and magazine comes in around 13.8 lbs., not too heavy.
The few things the Pro has to add is 2" on the barrel, stainless, the "Premier" action, and the cerakote. Having shot both now I can say there is little difference in performance, I got the B-14 action and barrel cerakoted by a buddy for $160. In my opinion save the $500 and put it into better glass. Chassis not needed there is nothing wrong with the molded in mini chassis, unless you prefer just to do range shooting.
I like the stock but I'm honestly more of a chassis guy. Just personal preference. The HMR stock has great adjustments for length of pull and cheek height. Area 419 also makes an ARCA rail you can attach to the forend or a picatinny rail you can put with the sling loop if you want to run a bipod that uses picatinny rail.
The stock is mold over a mini chassis right? No bedding the action and should be stable, not flopping around like the savage I’m shooting now.
Correct, the aluminum mini chassis is molded into the stock and runs all the way from the forend through the pistol grip. The QD flush cup mounts are screwed into the cups on the other side, four in total, no ripping out from a bad epoxy job, or stripped threading into he polymer as some companies had. The cheekriser adjusts like a charm and can be removed for cleaning; I placed some #7 Plumbers silicone O-Rings as stops on mine so I don't have to fiddle with it to return to my perfect cheek weld.
I replaced the forward sling swivels with the BT17 Picatinny rail from B&T Industries when I purchased the Atlas PSR bipod, I also put a BT34 Pic rail on the bottom of the buttstock for a monopod.

Very easy, either use it like I do by pushing the quick knob and use your left hand to stabilize up or down just like you would use a squeeze bag, or throw the lever and have it come off and use it without the monopod. The big advantage of the monopod is that you don't have to lug an extra bag around, or have it dangling around with some kind of string attached.
