Hello,

has anyone had experience with the Bergara b14 with killk Camo avaliable at the sportsman warehouse? I purchased one and no it’s not my first Bergara b14 but I got in the 30-06 which was great with federal premium 165 accubonds but since then that load has been unavailable so I switched over to 180 Barnes ttsx in the vortex line anyone have experience with this load? I run Barnes in my 300 win mag b14 and 7mm mag just didn’t know if that was to heavy for the ol 06 or is it just right? Any suggestions with the caliber I’m new to it but I know it’s been around along time.

I handload for my son in 30-06 (23 year old with a Boomer Brain--and a Bergara--ridgeback I think).

185 Juggies (I love saying juggies!) 185 Gr Berger Juggernaught
178 ELD-X
175 Gr SMK

Its mostly my leftover 308 stuff, but if 308 runs 175 and 185, 30-06 is just fine with em kinda the nice sweet spot. 200 prob a little heavy, those 185 Juggies are beastly. Get em around 2800 FPS. (my loads--check for pressure, always hot as shit where I am , so mine are always fast).

180-200 is kinda the place to be in 30 cal, unless you wanna play magnums. Just my (limited) XP.
