Bergara wilderness HMR .300 prc accuracy?

Entering the long range game and am pretty set on the bergara wilderness hmr in .300prc. Can anyone attest to the accuracy of this rifle in 300prc or 300winmag? I've seen good reviews and videos on the rifles, and some interesting stuff like people hitting a shotgun clay at 1000yds with this rifle. Any info would be appreciated!

Bergara makes some pretty good rifles. The nice thing about them is that their barrels are on the better side of production rifles and everything else is solid.

Notes:

- If your budget supports it, consider getting the HMR Pro. Better trigger, better bolt. I used to have this rifle in 6 CM and was happy with it.

- As to accuracy of PRC vs Win Mag, they will both be accurate. The difference comes in what types of bullets you can use. On the Bergara rifles, the Win Mag has a 1:10 twist, the PRC a 1:9. The 1:10 will not allow you to shoot some of the heavier, higher BC bullets in some conditions, and the Win Mag cartridge will have seating depth limitations with some of the longer bullets.

- Do you plan on reloading? If so, the PRC is better for a number of reasons. If not, it's closer to even. The Win Mag will yield better availability of ammo, but the ammo available for the 300 PRC has higher BC bullets.

- I rechambered my 300 WM to a 300 PRC and I'm quite happy I did.
