Hi all,
Just opened up a box of berger 6.5mm 130gn OTM's to do some load development with my 6.5x47. I decided to do a bearing surface check to see how they compare to the lapua 136 scenar's i have been using. I found in one box of 100 a 0.015 variation in bearing surface and 0.009 in another box. I thought my calipers gas crapped out so i checked some scenar's I batched out a while ago. They were spot on. Is this the normal tolerances or is something going on. The 185 juggernauts are very consistent and so are the 200 hybrids i use in my 308 norma mag.
Thanks for your help.

How many did you measure, and how are you measuring them?

This has not been my experience.
Hi mate,
This is how i do it using a hornady comparator and a Sinclair nut. I measured a box of 100 and about 20 from another batch i had laying around
