Range Report Berger 6mm Creedmoor 105 Ammunition

Anyone have any real world data on this ammunition? I like the idea of breaking in and fireforming Lapua brass from this ammo. It’s FPS is alittle slower than others, but curious if those numbers are on the conservative side. Perfect world, if it shot 3000fps and 1/2moa, I’d just get my 500 piece of lapua brass for my new build that way.

slow but accurate enough

buy a case. break in for a barrel and lapua brass to reload. it's a good enough deal

Not to derail the thread but I was shooting Hornady Match 108 ELDM out of my 6 creed, 350 rounds thru it with an average MV of 3020. Bought a new batch of ammo from hornady and I'm averaging 2990. Did they bump back their charges? If thats the case I may try the Berger stuff if the MV is a wash.

Likely just different lot. 30fps isn’t anything that will matter.

And either way it’s a wash overall. You can’t do anything with hornady at say 3050 you couldn’t fo with Berger at 2950 or vice versa if the velocities were swapped. Comes down to if you want lapua brass and 105’s or not.

ES and SD was still super low with the new lot of Hornady match stuff, it’s a hunting rifle so I may try the Bergers. Getting outta the reloading game but could sell the Lapua. What kinda ES and SD are you guys seeing?
