Berger Heavy 338

Any new info on the up coming heavy Berger 338? I want to order a fast twist 338 for this bullet and Flatlines.

I am also anxiously awaiting the 329. I just bought another 500 Berger 300s for my Norma Imp because I got tired of waiting.

I ordered some 1-9 twist barrels in anticipation of this bullet for an upcoming Lapua Improved build. That should be plenty fast considering Berger recommends a 1-10 for the 300 OTM, and Warner recommends a 1-9 for their 2.05" 285 Flatline.

Don't hold your breath!! When I talked to Berger at Shot Show this year i was told the .338 heavy bullets were just for testing and no plan as of January for production. It would be nice if they did come out sometime this year. But as we know things change and there may be a plan to bring them market.

Trust me I would love to have some bigger Berger bullets. I have a 30 in 1-8 twist .338 barrel that would be perfect for .338NM with 329gr .
