Doing some comparison between results using Berger online stability calculator with the values founded in the book “ Ballistic Performance of rifle bullets “, I’ve found, in a lot of cases, something that doesn’t match, for example using the data for the best, nominal and worst case with the calculator I see a value that is significant different from the value on the book.

example see picture in attach

nominal case is for sea level, 50% humidity, 59 F and 2800 twist 1.8 with the Lapua Scenar L

with this twist I’ve a stability of 1.10…. So not stable

if I put same data on the calculator I’ve a stability of 1.72…. Stable and correct, same value using also other software like FFS, StrelokPro ecc ecc

in the book I can also see discrepancy with minimum and recommended twist..

I’ve all the books of BL and there are a lot of helpful information but I don’t realize if what I’m talking about is one my incorrect procedure or an error in the book
