Bertram no longer importing?

I read that Bertram is no longer importing their brass to the states. Does anyone know the story?

I was about to build a 416 Hellfire or Vestal but now I’m not sure what to do

Well, when you violate the rules spelled out in your import/export license, state dept pinches your tit in the ringer.
Sad state of affairs, Fafo.
My understanding is Bertram did this to themselves.
