I am building a tactical solutions 10/22 and would like to get some input on a good side focus scope with a 22LR reticle.

leupold 4.5-14 varmint reticle. Zero at about 50, the last Hash mark good to about 120 yards.

Just get a standard scope, chrono your ammo you use (most times it's posted on the box but best to verify out of your gun, run it in JBM and make a dope sheet like you would for any other caliber.
Don't treat your .22 any different than your .308 or 338Lapua.. ballistics are ballistics. If you don't know about ballistics and are just getting into shooting (or at least taking it seriously) you need to learn now. Don't let equipment be a crutch for skill and training.

Might look into the Hawke Varmint SF line of scopes. they are easy on the wallet, Have clear glass, and ballictic software that is matched to the reticles in their scopes. I have 3 in various lines and all perform better then they should for their price tag
