I have used the ak master mount two different arsenal milled aks. SA93 AND SLR 95. The beauty of the master mount is that you do not have to permanently alter your rifle. I thought they both worked fine. The guy who sells them is also very helpful if you need any help installing it. When I purchased them they were the only rails I could find that didn't require riveting them onto the rifle. So for me they the best out there. Not sure if that has changed as I have not been following the ak market as closely. I probably only put about 500 rounds total through the 2 rifles before selling them but they were excellent rifles and the mounts were rock solid for the time I used them.
I have the rs regulate akml mount for aimpoint with a t2 on my Sam 7. I guess it depends on what optic but they have different mounts that attach the same way. Really solid and low profile.
If red dot, I like the Attero mount that's made with the aimpoint footprint. I think Seekins and TWS both make a similar product. It is the lowest profile and will just about guarentee you still keep a way to use Iron sights. You may have to get a little creative when mounting to get it rock solid though FYI.
If it's a prism or scope, RS regulate is the standard if you can find the parts you need instock.
I think OP is talking about the actual rail itself. Thats what I was talking about when I responded. The AK Master Mount is the side rail, although I do belive they also make the mount that attaches to the side rail. Soe of the older Arsenal AKs were not made with the side rails attached like the newer versions. The RS regulate ak mount is an excellent mount for attaching your optic to the AK Master Mount side rail or any other side rail for that matter.

Anyone who says this didn't install it correctly, or is mockingbirding someone else they knew or read on the internet that said it. There have been several attero mounts at KCON, and to date, haven't broke a single one. In fact, quite a few people finish in the upper 25% with them. You are more likely to shift your zero by accidentally bracing against your barrel, which happens alot.
You've got to shim the attero mount inside the rear sight base where the roll pin goes through. You can use material from a beer can to do it but an old feeler gauge works best. Find the exact thickness, drill it, and drive the roll pin through, and cut the rest of the gauge off. You've got to loctite the screw and make sure that the nut is seated solid. This is optional, but you can flare the roll pin on the ends to further seat it good and solid with some creativity.
Atteros are great mounts, but if you can't read past the instructions, maybe they're not for you. And if you can't massage and finesse a part to fit correctly and work right, maybe an AK isn't right for you.
