Coming to the conclusion that I'm gonna have to have a surpressor after Night assassin let me try his Sparrow on my Savage FV-SR. I know the sparrow is popular, what about the Warlock? Also I'm gonna want a .30 cal can for centerfire stuff. Anybody ever shot a can like that on a rimfire? I don't really care if it's big and heavy, also have a .17 hmr but need to get it threaded. Looking to save as much $ as possible, money is a bit tight these days.

HAHA happy to be an influence man. Look at how they come apart and how hard it will be to clean the areas inside. If I were to buy another it would be the TBAC takedown.
And shooting a Rimfire on a Centerfire can is no good. You have to clean rimfire, centerfire, put it on full auto for a bit.....

I ordered a AMTAC fire ant for my Vudoo V22. Last month they were running a sale buy a can they pay your stamp So can cost me $465 shipped. Its already at my FFL waiting for parole.

Yea that was awesome. I'm ruined now, I'm gonna have to get one. Thanks again for having me up, very generous of you.

Take a hard look at the TBAC takedown. I have a Sparrow and a Specter II. Took my new TBAC to the range this weekend and amazed how quiet it was. No first round pop, lighter and just a more muffled tone. Not at all unhappy with my other 22 cans, but the TBAC is certainly my favorite now. Most are all good cans these days but if I get another 22 it will be TBAC no question.

I've been very pleased with my SWR Spectre II - have been using it exclusively on Stiller 2500XR, 40X & XB repeaters, and will be using it on the V-22 as soon as I finish the Krieger bbl I'm working on for it. Like most rimfire cans, the Spectre gets a lot of 22 fouling build-up in it after a few hundred rounds, but it's always very quiet (I shoot match grade std vel ammo only), and provides excellent accuracy. And after doing the DOT 5 brake fluid treatment on the Spectre, cleaning it just became a non-issue.

Being a TBAC fan boy (have three of their 30 cal cans), I decided this past summer to get a 22 Takedown. Mailed off the form 4 in mid-July, so chances are, I'll be lucky to get it in time to use it during next summer's 22RF PR match season. It's going to have to be truly exceptional to out-perform the Spectre II, and you can bet I'm looking forward to comparing the two.
