Best competitive Sniper Rifle

The one that you shoot the best. These rifles are like a pair of shoes. You can wear them, but if they're not comfortable on you, you're not going to like the outcome.
So true. Doesn't matter what it is or how awesome if gear it is, if it doesn't fit you and you like it, you won't keep it and shoot it.

I think that's why we all pretty much go through several chassis and scopes and actions to figure out what we really do like and what the other cool kids like, but don't work for us.

I think the KRGw3 is the most comfortable chassis out there, and thats coming from someone with 2 visions that I run. I kept a W3 for my 223 because I just like it so much. The vision does what I need it to a little bit better, which is why I run those. It's different for everyone but the W3 is one that there's lit of consensus on being able to fit and feel good for a lot of guys

Just get a "me too".
Impact action, foundation stock, 6mm or 6.5, top tier barrel maker barrel. Done.

Maybe watch the last sniper comp and see who won and what their using???

Joined today? Asks about best "competitive sniper rifle"???

Budget - AI AT folder in 6.5/6mm Creed in 24".
No Budget - AI AT-X with folder AXSR stock. (Providing they figured out the feeding issue)
No budget with F-U money - AXSR 😉

I don't recommend a semiautomatic for long range comps unless you have a strong foundation on the fundamentals . Semiautos exploit poor technique.

Call HS and ask to talk to Josh Cluff about this. I know it's slap-stick internet humor, but the folks at HS are not about shooting porch women, and the incident in question happened decades detached, without them being aware of what that specific guy's history was.

I wanted a real sniper rifle a while back. I had several Quality 308's. LuRue OBR, LaRue Predator and a Les Baer Swat Sniper. While all were excellent shooters I still wasn't satisfied. So I called Mile High. Thet had a AIAW in 308 with a Bartlien barrel. Out fitted it with an Atlas bipod and a NightForce NSX 8-32X56 scope with HST and Zero set. I finally got the accuracy I desired. So If I was looking for a real sniper today it wouldn't be a semi but another AI.

I have a Masterpiece Arms PMR PRO II in 6.5 CM with a Nightforce 5-25x56 scope that I'm very satisfied with. I'm not suggesting that this is the best rifle available however, MPA is a company worth looking at.

Is this like a homework assignment on day 1 at the ATF? I guess discreet name tag creativity class comes later...
I would go with a modded Savage Rascal, make sure you ask for it re-bored to .338 and get "The Trigger"....

You've apparently forgotten (or never knew) that Tom Houghton and Horiuchi were besties. Horiuchi was on the HS payroll for a while. Plenty of evidence in print on the webz where Houghton repeatedly stood up and defended his Woman/Mother murdering buddy. Fuck them.

I'm really glad I joined this forum, I almost expected NRA ads and thin blue line sticker packs. Thank God that's not the case.
