Training Courses Best Defensive Handgun Classes?

Howdy all, my younger sister has expressed interest in taking a defensive handgun course. She shared a local (Denver,CO) training provider's website with me and I got a distinct mall cop/internet tactical vibe from these guys. Wanted to see if you all had any recommendations for really solid training in the region, Colorado preferred but let's say 4 corners + Wyoming.

Dave Spaulding is a great instructor. I took an 2-day Handgun Combatives class a few years back, and it was excellent. He’s the real deal. Looks like his general classes are pretty expensive (my local Sheriff’s Office hosted a class at a discount for area LEO), but would be worth every penny IMO.
Looks like he’s in Ft. Collins, Colorado September 26-30.
