Best factory 338 Lapua ammo for target shooting?

Im not quite ready to get back into reloading yet and want to buy some factory ammo so I can start stocking up on brass and plink until I can find a good spot to get out to a mile here. Prior to, I was loading berger 300s and shooting that far with ease, however when I moved, I sold my Dillon equipment and brass, and cant justify that kind of investment quite yet.

Looking on Ammo Seek, Prvi is by far the cheapest at just over $2 a round, and it looks like the "quality" nod goes to Prime and Federal GMM at just over $3 a round. Hornady and others are way higher at the $100+ a box range.

For those shooting factory ammo, what have you had luck with? While I was thinking about just getting the Prvi for 1000 yards and in, looking at the quality of brass I get for paying a buck more a round with the Prime, I imagine the brass loads much better, and I remember paying nearly a buck a piece for once fired Lapua when I was shooting 338 before.

Any other recommendations in the $3ish a piece realm?

Buy Lapua Scenar loads, than you have fire formed brass for loading.

Target Sports USA. If youre a member of their ammo club its $60 a box for 20 rounds. $3.04 a round to be exact, if that qualifies for "just over".

I wish... $6 a round adds up REAL quick for either Lapua or Berger ammo. Prime and Gold Medal Match are about as expensive as I want to go until I'm ready to buy another Dillon and commit to loading.

Do you know what kind of brass they use?

Most Prime brass is made by Norma, however im not sure about the 338 stuff. Id imagine also Norma, but it doesn't specifically state anywhere.

I just broke down and bought 400 rounds of the Prime. I thought about GMM, but I dont like federal brass for how hot I load, and I dont know enough about PPU or S&B brass, so at least worst case I can sell the once fired if I dont load again.
