I am thinking seriously about getting a rem 700 5r with a 24 inch barrel in the 300wm. I don't reload just yet as I am trying to finish up my house before I build a workshop. I shoot federal gold match 168smk's in my 308 and it is awesome. What would be it's counterpart in the 300wm? I searched around some and did'nt come up empty with the search engine. I am sure it's probably been covered and I just have not searched it right.
