I am gonna start loading for my 300WM for hunting only. I am thinking of using 168s since that is the bullet I use for my 308 hunting. I looked thru some manuals and it looks like IMR4831 is teh fastest. Anyone got any opinions on powder choice.

I got 7828 to shoot in my 300wm useing 168gn vld bullets.76.0gn is what worked for me.and 74.0gn of IMR 4831 worked OK.even tried R15 but didn't work out.and the new IMR 4007 worked OK but didn't have the time to work on the load because deer season started.so I went with the 7828 load.most will say H1000,R22 with heavy bullets.so use your better judgment.

I have had very good results with N560. It is just a bit hard to find lately.
