Rifle Scopes Best scope for 8 and under Falcon 5-25x50 FFP?

I have narrowed my choice of scopes to NF 5.5-22X50 or the Premier 3-15-50 for my new DTA SRS 338
My idea was to get a good budget scope for a few months to use till I can raise cash. I still need to buy a bunch of Re-loading equipment. I was wondering about a scope up to the $800 range. I have a 6500 Bushnell on a 308 M1a and I have no issues. I have read good and bad with the Facons. What are your thought on a scope under 8???

I like mine. I like my knobs and it is consistent and really great for the price

Check out Bushnell Elite 4200 3-12x44 FFP. It has all the tacticool features for a reasonable price + the glass is good.

I suggest the Super Sniper 3-9 with FFP and Mil/Mil. It's under you budget and rugged enough to take the recoil.

Keep you eye on the for sale section, I have seen nice Mark 4's for $850.

I have the falcon 4-14x44 and love it, it tracks well and has held up well for me, the only thing i think needs improvement is that it gets difficult to see the target in low light situations. Other than that the scope is perfect.

For a temporary scope that would serve as a backup when I got my good one, I'd get a Nikon, probably the Buckmaster mildot 4.5-14, though some of the other ones might work also.
