I would actually pick the Jard as the best for a Savage. It's very good IMO.^The more expensive rifle basix is the best trigger for Savage - approx like a regular Jewell on a 700.
I'm running a Solus action, more of a bench rest rifle build, I'm thinking there's not a right or wrong answer when it comes to looking at the TT or B&A up there at that price point.Could define "Precision Rifle"? I've used a lot of triggers, the best feeling trigger is a properly tuned Bix n Andy. I have had no issues with TT, BNA, OR Timney in the field but sounds like BnA can have issues in poor conditions, but all triggers can fail. Unless you plan on running really light pull weights, a TT special tuned down to 1-1.5# will do everything a diamond will for less money(have several rifles set up this way). I know Europtic had them on sale a week ago for like $175.
