Best Trigger For Savage 110

[Anti-Materiel]

Hi guys, it's my understanding that Jewel triggers are considered the best by many shooters, but I don't think they make a trigger that fits a Savage 110. Correct me if I'm wrong.

What trigger would you guys recommend?

I was looking at a Timney. I hear they're good.

Anyway, let me know your thoughts & thanks in advance!

I shoot the SSS trigger. I really like it for the price, and it's very easy to install. Some are available Here, so you don't have to worry when SSS will actually ship the triggers.

I prefer the Timney trigger on my Savage Rifles. It is very adjustable and also very easy to install.

I've tried the Timney and Rifle Basix triggers in all mine. I ended up with all Timney's. I liked the RB very well but the Timney just had a slightly better feel for me. I havent tried the SSS, but that's because I won't ever let another penny touch anything that SSS has to do with.

Yeah, I guess I'm gonna go with the Timney. I just wanted to hear if you guys had any problems with them.

I have only tried the Rifle Basix and I'm happy with it.

I have the SSS comp and the RB sav-2. I love them both. One is 50 bucks cheaper than the other though.

Let me guess, you weren't happy with their customer service in the past. I ordered a stock from them in June. It is taking a lot longer than they said it would. They are slow in answer emails also. I was aware of that before I ordered the stock, so I was prepared.

I put the Jard in mine. It takes a little ingenuity to install, but it pretty good once it gets in. I probably would make a different choice if I were to do it again. Probably the Rifle Basix.

It annoys me how they do business but their trigger is very good and they make good stuff

Jay, I agree. I think they would be fine if they gave realistic completion times, and were a little more timely with email replies. They make great products. I have never seen a complaint in the quality dept.. GAP has long completion times, but people don't seem to care because they're honest and they have great products.

Timney for the savage for sure
