What is the best option for an improved trigger?

Smithing the stock trigger, or an aftermarket such as Timney or Jewell?

Is one aftermarket best, or is a Ford vs. Chevy debate?

The general opinion...and take this for what it is- jewel for a bench/ target gun and Timney for a rifle that will see hard use, or dirty conditions. The new Timney Calvin Elite is said to feel like a Jewwll but with the reputation of reliability that comes with Timney.
There are also the 2- stage triggers, CG-Extreme and Huber

I have a Jewell and a Timney. I prefer the Jewell, but for the price I think the Timney is probably the better bang-for-the-buck option.

I would buy aftermarket before screwing with a factory trigger.
