Best type of RED paint to use on 'FIRE' text on AR

Hey everyone,

I just posted about painting my AR, which I did (worked real well). But I wanted to use some red paint to paint over the word FIRE on my lower. What kind of paint is best for this application on metal? Acrylic? ...or some other kind of red paint?

Im no artist which is why im asking.

I used a red crayon and just rubbed the excess off. My lettering wasn't deep enough for paint

Crayola. Holds up forever, easily removed and reapplied.

Your wife's red fingernail paint. Works just fine.

That is a good idea also. Both of those are actually high quality paint.

brownells carries a marking stock that fills in the lettering. its a bowling ball product of all things if i recall.

A toothpick and testors model paint.

+1 on the Testors model paint.. used it many a' time and very good results everytime
