In spite of the obvious love for Leupold on this site, the MK4 ER/T M5 series scope is a very good scope. I bought My MK4 ER/T 8.5-25X50 M5 for about $600 cheaper than I could get the NF F1, which is currently only offered in 3.5-15X. I originally, was going to get an F1, but when I weighed everything out, the M5 fit my needs better and was significantly less expensive, atleast to me. </div></div>
Below 6x I'm guessing that you will be close enough that milling the target won't be the make or break of a shot.. About the Luppy.. it's a really good piece of glass. Repeatability, tracking clarity, etc. I have had a Mk4 for 5 years and it's been utterly reliable. I just wish that they would add some of the bells and whistles. Take the 4.5-16 FFP with M5 knobs, and add a high speed turret option, zero stops, and illum and you would have one bad ass scope! Really, how much R&D costs would it take to put on a high speed turret and a zero stop function?
