Training Courses BHTC 2013 Schedule posted

Re: BHTC 2013 Schedule posted

Looks like a busy year for you guys! I see a few I want to get in on.

Where will this be held: BHTC PRECISION RIFLE COMPETITION SPECIFICS COURSE
Is it a shooting course or more lecture?

I loaded up my calendar today with all the matches for 2013. Might have to pick up an AK and take the Kalashnikov course.

Thanks guys,

This will be at NHRPC, Gap PA.

We believe being a training company and also running and competing in long range precision rifle competitions puts us in a unique position to offer something like this.

It's a shooting course designed to turn a good shooter into a good COMPETITOR in long range tactical precision rifle. So many times we see guys who we know can shoot fall down on the job as soon as it's 'for the scoreboard.'

There is so much we see people doing that completely works against putting points up. Paying attention to the wrong things (or nothing at all), dwelling on prior stages, staggering aimlessly through the match "in a fog".. all sorts of self-sabotage. <span style="font-style: italic">Matches like these are rarely dominated by 'the best shooters.'</span> They are dominated by the right combination of planning, focus, and raw shooting skill.

We have our unfair share of W's and high finishes so it's time to give back a little. This is not a zero pressure course - Ever shoot a zero pressure match? Expect what I will call 'aggressive guidance and intervention.'

If you shoot a lot of matches and want to do better, this one day course is our honest effort to help people do that.

It's focused on those with competition experience. It is not a fundamentals course so you should come with the ability to drive your rifle without assistance to 637Y.

Sounds like a great class. I'm not the best shooter on the line, so any other advantage I can get is much needed. This was only my second season of competing in matches, and I already recognize that there is a ton of mental work going on during the match. Getting some help processing all of that will be a good thing!

I was laughing on above. "Staggering aimlessly... in a fog" is how I get thru life, Freddy. You can't go changing that on me ...

I have mapped out my entire 2013 calendar for clearance from wife. Such advanced work will hopefully allow me to do more than a few of these matches/training. As always, thanks for offering us some many options!
