Anyone have any experience using any of the biathlon models on a tripod?
From what i can make out of the pictures ive found, TAB biathlon doesnt seem to have the buckle near the attachment point like the other TAB models, and I don't have flush cups on my rifle, so im guessing i would likely have to unhook from one or both of the buckles that ride at the shoulder, and pull that around the leg of the tripod. My concern with that is i cant judge if there will be enough length there to make high angle shots. Im also not sure about how stiff/thick the shoulder pads are, and how that might effect getting a good grip when im torquing the sling.
I was also wondering if anyone can articulate the difference between the RBS and the SBS. Is there something missing from it?
I also saw in this thread https://snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2520087 that TIS had a biathlon model, but i cannot find any sign of it online, is it discontinued?
Any input most appreciated.
