Push the pin in the middle of the extractor down and slide the extractor toward the firing pin. Be careful as the retaining pin may shoot out if you don’t keep something over it.
Thanks. I was trying that earlier but non of my punches are small enough so I was using a small nail. I guess I wasn’t pushing it far enough

Glad Im not the only one that had this question. Thanks for asking so I didnt have to.. LMAOI know it’s a dumb question but how do I remove the extractor on a bighorn origin?
I know this is an old thread but its worth a shot. I damaged my extractor spring and BH wants $20 for a repair kit and $15 to ship it. Do you guys know of any other options?
Not sure on suitable replacement spring. Does that kit come with a replacement extractor? Price seems high for a spring.
