OK. I know they are threaded for Savage small shank barrels. My question is, do I order any Savage small shank prefit? Or, do I have to have one made for the TL3? I want to run a Proof Research or a Carbon Six. Thanks for any help.

Call pva. Josh will set you up with a prefit shouldered barrel. He won' even need your action.

Any savage small shank with a nut will work. You will need headspace gauges.

We can do a PROOF or Carbon Six barrel blank that has no need for headspace gages, it's a custom style installation with a shoulder. We can do it that way with any action if we see it the first time but with Bighorn TL3's we don't need the receiver to offer that service.

You'll want small shank savage barrels. Proof and carbon six offer this option, go with that and save money over a traditionally shouldered barrel. All you need is a barrel nut and headspace gauge.
