Bino harnesses and Kestrels - do the magnets interfere?

I’m looking to get a bino harness for my Sig Kilo 6k binos and a kestrel 5700elite.

I’m looking at the marsupial gear and the eberlestock as the ones I like the most so far. I’m open to other options as well. Maybe even the new one from KUIU.

Primary purpose will be bow hunting (wont need the kestrel clearly), rifle hunting, and long range shooting in general.

Will the magnets in lid affect the kestrels internal compass? I want to make sure that I protect its ability to set target and wind captures accurately. Marsupial does have a non-magnetic version, but it’s sold out in green and only available in brown right now. I also kind of like the beefier accessory pouch design of the eberlestock, but it’s only available in magnetic.

Getting my 5700 Elite near the magnetic case closure for my Bushnell ConX LRF would screw the compass calibration up. I stopped using that case because of it.

Yes. It will throw off the compass, and you will need to recalibrate it every time they have been near each other.
