Bipod EXT ??????

Who uses these and who wants one ?
I don't use them. never want one either. Yes they do help with some stability. But they also introduce vibration. After all they're just a giant tuning fork. Basic laws of design in accurate rifle building is to have everything as low as center of gravity is possible. They will help if your rifle design is all wrong causing a weight balance tracking issue. However building the rifle and designing it properly to start with is a much better option

Went to a match in eastern Oregon. That day was super windy 26 mile an hour winds. As we are all standing around and all the fancy rifles lined up side by side the only one that was moving around all by itself sitting on the ground was the one that had a bipod extension. You could literally see it wiggling around from 15 ft away.
