Does anyone out there have any info on the Blackhawk picatinny base sold by Cabela's? Does this base have an included increased angle for tactical scopes?

Called Cabela's, but I guess you can pretty much figure out how that went.

Or, does anyone have a direct link to Blackhawk?

The Blackhawk is the same as the Weaver extended mutli-slot rail.

I do not know if cabela's sells the angled variety.

SWFA sells the weaver for about 30 bucks. They are very well made.

If one has the CNC machines, it's not like these things actually cost alot to make. 15 cents worth of aluminum, if that, plus the casting and final machining.
Some of the high prices you see are that way because folks will pay it.

Unless you are jumping out of airplanes with your rifle, a good quality aluminum base, which the weaver is, will work just fine.
