I seem to have located some bad primers. In this video you will see me shoot the hog but he takes off. So not knowing if hes fatally wounded or not I try to hit him again. The second shot is a hang fire I squeeze the trigger the hammer hits a pause then fire. Third shot was normal, fourth shot another hang fire, fifth no fire at all. I tested several more shots after this and found no more. Its strange to me that so many in a row were bad. Maybe contaminated some how in the mag.

We had a SHOCKING number of bad primers (36 of 1000) out of a box of Federal XM 193 recently that were receiving good solid primer strikes and not going off. Stuff like that is unnerving at best! Especially when you staring at a you big ole end "o" world ammo store...

This was the first hang fire for me ever it threw me off. Seems quick in the video but seemed much longer between click and boom real time. Earlier in the night another hunter had a squib round shooting PNW subsonics the bullet lodged far enough back that the next round did not chamber he is very lucky because he pulled the trigger. Almost everything that could go wrong went wrong this weekend lol.

This is the w1000-9 it was hot and 90% humidity but still worked very well.
