Rifle Scopes Bobro experiences need input

I have 3 of them. I also have Larue and a couple of others. The Bobro doesn't have the heft of the others but has been objectively demonstrated to return to zero (from mounted/removed/replaced) better than the others. Tests showed 50% closer than next best (Larue) that was tested. The mounting is solid, its worth the squeeze. It won't wear out the rail the way a Larue can.

My single latch Bobro is loose enough on some uppers that you can move the mount fore and aft with just hand pressure. Of course, most likely a slightly out-of-spec rail, however, without the ability to tighten the latch, it's useless on some uppers.

I have 2. Both single lever qd on ARs. 1 is the ACOG mount and the other is 30mm rings holding a 3-15x. I actually had the 3-15x on a POS Revolution for about 1000 rounds with recoil (.308) on the snappy side and it was fine. Haven't had any problems with either. Heavier duty than say ADMs or MIs IMO although I've never had issues with either of those. I can attest to great customer service-even when I was 100% at fault they fixed for free and quickly.

A good point I had forgotten about-no ability to tighten it up. Hasn't been an issue for me but I can see where it could for some.

I own a single latch for a lpvo on my AR, and a duel latch for a NXS 2.5-10x32 on my scar 17. Bobro is a good QD optic mount, i'm happy with it. Return to zero is good. My only complaint is that the latches take up a lot of real estate.

They're awesome mounts. I have several. The only issue I ever had was that I broke one of the ring studs/bolts. I contacted Bobro, they sent me a return mailing label, and shipped me a new one, once they received mine. Great customer service. Even though they are quick release, I rarely take mine off. But when I do remove them and re-attach them, they keep their zero within 1/4". Just watch your ring height if you get a mount with a 20 MOA cant. If your scope base already has a cant, the objective bell on your scope may hit your top rail, or barrel.
