Gunsmithing Bottom Metal

Re: Bottom Metal

You'll be $340. lighter in your bank account, for one thing.

For another, if you shoot tactical comps, and have a 10 round string, you can concentrate of shooting, and not fumbling with reloading.

Lastly you'll look cool.....

Jeff is the MAN. I know him personally and he does great work, easy to both talk to and to get in touch with. Trust me on this one!

Re: Bottom Metal

Curious - if I have the older Badger Ord lower metal, will I have to inlet for a new magazine system (Ie the one on the M40A5?)..

I may actually finally be sold on this. I saw it on "Modern Snipers" last night - so I'm thinking hard on it...

Re: Bottom Metal

When you say «the older Badger» do you mean floorplate model? If so then the inlet is very similar only that youll need to mill the stock a bit deeper on the rear side of where bottom metal sits in the stock.in other words the M5 mag system bottom metal is thicker,so it needs room to sit it correctly in your stock.
