BR4 base wind and vector wind

Hey all I just got a Revic br4 and when switching to vector wind I cannot get the rangefinder to go back to base wind unless I let the rangefinder sit for about 5 minutes than it seems to reset.

Any one have a way to switch from base wind to vector wind and right back to base wind?

The only way to speed up the time cycle in returning from vector wind to base wind (other than waiting for it to time out) would be to either remove and reinsert the battery, or loosen the battery cap enough that the battery would disconnect so it would reset to base wind.
