Hunting & Fishing Braggin"

Not on me, on my kids. Opening day here in WV. My son got a basket 6 on an uphill shot about 165 yards. 1 shot and down. His 4th deer with the 7mm-08

My daughters first deer. Never really showed an interest in hunting or shooting until about 3 weeks ago. After a crash course on safety, and the rudimentary skills of marksmanship she scored on this mature doe today at about 155 yards, in the pouring down rain. Showing some great patience, she hit the doe with 1 shot with a 7mm-08 that we just put together this weekend. Trisected the heart. The smile says it all.

Dad's sittin here drinkin a Heineken and savoring the moment.

That is awesome!! Great job!good to see some kids get involved in the outdoors.Most just want to sit around and play XBOX nowdays.
